How to use the Schedule - The following schedule is broken down into NRA Basic Courses, NRA Instructor Courses and Other Courses (non NRA). Please scroll down to find the correct category. All courses that are currently open for registration are marked Register Now! at the beginning of the course title.

Once you have chosen a course and date, go to the Register page to complete registration, make a secure online payment and get directions.

NRA BASIC COURSES

Register Now!  NRA Basic Pistol - Regularly scheduled group courses at the Hartford Gun Club in East Granby, CT (next to Bradley Airport), which is convenient to residents of both western and central MA and northern CT. The facility includes a 30-seat classroom and indoor pistol range. A comprehensive 8-hour course that includes classroom training and live fire. See the Basic Pistol page for more information. Start time is 9:00 AM sharp. The course fee is $130.00, and pre-registration is required. Upon completion, students receive both NRA and MA course certificates. The next course dates are:

NRA Range Safety Officer - Group courses are scheduled based upon demand. The next course location and additional information is as noted below. The course fee is as noted below, and pre-registration is required. See the Range Safety Officer page for more information. The next course dates are:

NRA Home Firearm Safety - Group courses are scheduled based upon demand. The next course location is as shown below. The course fee is as noted below, and pre-registration is required. This is a non live fire course conducted in a classroom setting, and meets MA training requirements for either an LTC or FID. See the Home Firearm Safety page for more information. NRA INSTRUCTOR COURSES

Register Now!  NRA Certified Instructor Training - The course includes pre-qualification, 6 hours of Basic Instructor Training (BIT) plus discipline specific training ranging from 5 to 14 hours in length. This is a group course, with a minimum of 4 participants, and pre-registration is required. The total course fee is as noted below, plus an NRA application fee is due upon completion.. MA Pistol License Course - Group courses are scheduled based upon demand. The next course location is as shown below, and pre-registration is required. The course fee is as shown below. This is a non live fire course conducted in a classroom setting, and meets MA training requirements for either and LTC or FID. An option live fire training session is available upon request - POA. See the MA Pistol License Course page for more information. This is not an NRA course.

Coming Soon!  Small Groups Only: MA Pistol License Course - Courses will be scheduled on a rotating basis: days, evenings and weekends. Intended to accommodate people who cannot attend our regular group courses.  The next course location is as shown below, and pre-registration is required. The course fee is $100.00, and seating capacity is limited as shown below. This is a non live fire course conducted in a classroom setting, and meets MA training requirements for either and LTC or FID. See the MA Pistol License Course page for more information. This is not an NRA course.

Utah Concealed Firearm Permit Course - Group courses are scheduled based upon demand. The next course location is as shown below, and pre-registration is required. The course fee is $100.00. This is a non live fire course conducted in a classroom. See the Utah Course page for more information. This is not an NRA course.

Register Now!  Multi-License Course - Group courses are scheduled based upon demand. The next course location is as shown below, and pre-registration is required. The course fee is as shown below. This is a non live fire course conducted in a classroom, and meets the training requirements for Massachusetts, Utah and Florida licenses (plus others including Maine and New Hampshire). Save time and money, and maximize the number of states where you can legally carry a pistol. See the Multi-License Course  page for more information. This is not an NRA course.

The fee for the courses listed below has been reduced to only $100.00. Normally this course is $150.00. Please select the appropriate Special in the drop-down menu on the Register page.

The next course dates are: 

• Sunday, March 25th at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Lenox, MA. To be held in their meeting room. Check-in starts at 8:30 AM, and the course starts promptly at 9:00 AM. Seating limited to the first 50 people to register and pay. This course filled completely the last time is was held here.  50% of seats are sold.
